But in other news, a friend of mine is getting married in late August. (as we are currently amid the throes of wedding season) We had her bridal shower last Saturday. The setting was beautiful, Koppert Lake. The weather was gorgeous (sun filtering through trees down to our grassy knoll) Delicious Greek chicken pitas. Bounteous wild flowers picked from neighbor's fields and along roadsides. Pies, pies and more pies...apple, rhubarb, blackberry, cherry, peach, fruit tarts... As well as tubs filled with water and Thomas Kemper Soda. Not to mention the friends and family that showed up to support our Bride-to-Be.

What gorgeous photos Susan! Looks like a beautiful shower! :)

Im partial, but it was a lovely shower! You girls made it so lovely, thank you, thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful shower! And what made it so good was that slong with the wonderful flowers, food, and surroundings, were the relationships between the women, young and old, coming together to celebrate one of our own entering marriage.
