One year ago, I was on a plane after saying tearful goodbyes. It was early and quiet in the lonely Beirut airport. I had just spent 6 months learning a new culture and bits of language. For the next several weeks, I am going to share some stories with you, that perhaps I wasn't able to share during my time there, due to lack of internet. But here is a small taste of what is to come...a rainy Beirut day...
