Historic Snow in the Northwest

You may have heard about the record snow that had blanketed the Northwest of the US.  Tuesday morning, I recieved a phone call saying that school was delayed two hours, so I went back to sleep.  An hour later, I received another phone call saying that classes were cancelled, so I peeked out the window... I had only seen such snow on the mountain passes!  But the world was white and for the rest of the week, I enjoyed time at home snuggling next to the fire in blankets.  All in all, we had around 18 inches.
