"Pictures of the everyday once a week in 2014."  
I can't believe it is two days into 2015.  I just had to finish up this project as it was one of last year's resolutions!  52 weeks of pictures, documenting the exciting, the mundane and the adorable.  What a fun project.

1.  His first bubble bath...that later made him break out in a rash. :(

 2.  The McCurry side of the family celebrating Christmas.

3.  My favorite ornament on the tree this year.  I'm excited to see a tree with several of these as the years pass.

1.  I finally finished making our Christmas ornaments for this year.  And with a whole 4 days until Christmas.

2.  James is cutting his first year molars which means this little smile has been a rarity this week.

1. These beautiful storm clouds pushing all the blue sky to the southwest.

2.  Somebody is helping clean up the kitchen after breakfast.

3.  Our camp stove and lantern proved to be helpful when the power was out for over 24 hours this week.  Yum, potato soup!

"Pictures of the everyday once a week in 2014."

1.  Let be real, getting James to sit/stand still long enough for a picture with a real camera is like trying to...catch and cloud and pin it down.  :)  So here is our fuzzy phone picture from early this morning.

2.  On a particularly rough day, I took James for a drive up on the logging roads in hopes the bumps would put him to sleep.  Because the sun sets so early, we get some gorgeous foggy views of the lake and valley below.

3.  These holly berries were snipped from a roadside bush and are currently making our table look quite festive.

P.S. Lets just take a moment to look at the numbers.  I started this 52 week photography project 49 weeks ago.  There are just 3 weeks left in 2014!  Wow!

Week 48

1.  These 20 degree mornings are quite lovely.

2.  Happy Thanksgiving!
3.  Happy 30th Birthday to this little guy.  I love you Bradley!

Week 47

1.  I started some mini daffodils to see if they work like amaryllis and paperwhites.

2.  How is it all the toys have babies when we go to sleep, and they multiply across the living room. 

3.  We had a 50 degree day, so James and I took advantage of the heat wave and went for a walk.

Week 46

1.  Somebody isn't too sure about this wearing-a-hat-to-stay-warm thing.

Week 45

1.  Icy 26 degree mornings.

 2.  Trees blown over on the highways.  Thanks Brad for clearing a path.

 3.  Evidence of James' first haircut...he is mullet free.

1.  James is looking more and more like a little boy and less like a baby.

 2.  The leaves are piling up, and the trees are getting naked.

3.  There is something gorgeous about a barn and bright fall tree.  hmmm.  Hot cider anyone?

 1.  Our yield from chestnut picking!  They are currently drying by the heater awaiting the oven.

 2.  Someone hasn't been feeling so great around here.  Saltines & ginger ale anyone?

 3.  Very fuzzy evidence of loving & being confused by bubbles.

4.  The reason behind the quietness around here lately.

Week 39:
1.  This face is already fading into a past phase.

2.  My basil crop made some tasty pesto, with several cubes in the freezer for later.

 Week 41:
1.  Walks across the bridge with leaves to throw into the water below.

 2.  Playing in the rocks, and seeing them get gorgeous once they're all wet.

1.  Hello, cool rainy fall days.

2.  Goodbye warm early fall days playing in the dry crunchy grass.

 3.  Hello enjoying apples fresh off the tree.  Goodbye sitting outside in the dappled sunlight.

 4.  Hello first hot chocolate of the season!

1. Somebody had a 1st birthday...so we celebrated with frozen yogurt and sprinkles. :)  and fuzzy iphone photos.

 2.  The partying lasted all weekend...so many leftover treats!

 3.  I harvested my purple garbanzo beans, there were even a few pods with two peas!

 4.  We searched for agates in Northern California...here is our first find.

1. These apples are getting big, which means the season which cannot be named until September is almost upon us!!!

 2.  Playing at the lake, soaking in the summer sunshine.

 3.  A ridiculously blue sky and dandelion seeds.

 4.  I submit that this is the one of the best feelings ever...a little person asleep on your shoulder.

1.These cheerful daisies and yellow buttons.

 2.  One day's garden harvest.  Yum!!!  Add to that several handfuls of basil and mint.

 3.  A little sleeping boy.

 4.  This beautiful cream moth sitting just on my doorframe.
